Next one is Gauri-Shankar, physically and spiritually distinct at the height of 7134 meters. This charming mountain is believed to have been protected by Lord Shiva and Gauri as per Hinduism. The great mountain has a record of being climbed only in 1979 after a number of unsuccessful attempts by trekkers. The time comes then to fly towards the eastern Himalayas following a range of beautiful mountains. Melungtse (7023 m) appears like a Plateau which is followed by Chugimago (6297 m) long-waiting to be conquered. Next is Numbur at 6956 meters that resembles a breast, feeding pure milk to the Sherpas of Solu Khumbu. At 6511 meters, you will encounter a mountain that shines with the sun as it rises, it’s called Karyolung. The list follows Cho-Oyu, the eighth highest mountain in the world stretching upto 8201 meters. Following is Gyanchungkang mountain which is considered as extremely challenging to climb. Right next to it is Pumori (7161 m) and Nuptse (7855 m) on the list. Eventually, you get to witness the ultimate peak of Nepal and of the earth called as Chomolungma by Tibetans, Sagarmatha by Nepalese and Mount Everest by the world.
